Blackcurrant refill pack Coil in Bristol: the cheap shortlist
Blackcurrant in Bristol: 13 units tested over 9 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
How to tell a good refill pack from a repack
A blackcurrant refill pack from the cheapest options in Bristol costs about £1.7 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Most people searching Coil in Bristol are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
If you only read one line: the refill pack you buy decides how long blackcurrant tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a blackcurrant refill pack really costs in Bristol
We run blackcurrant the same way in Bristol: same refill pack, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested blackcurrant in a refill pack
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a blackcurrant bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 13 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where blackcurrant goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bristol accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why blackcurrant tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing blackcurrant with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a refill pack cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £1.7 per 10 ml liquid plus £58 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On blackcurrant the budget price and the premium price can sit within £1.7 per 10 ml once 2–4 business days is counted.
What nicotine strength should blackcurrant start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a refill pack.
