Home / Tropical RDA Coil in Bristol: the guide shortlist

Coil life, liquid cost and the tropical habit

Tropical sounds like one product. It is not: a RDA running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.

Ordering into Bristol usually means waiting 2–4 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.

The short version: tropical in Bristol works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.

What a tropical RDA really costs in Bristol

Tropical prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.71 per 10 ml.

How we tested tropical in a RDA

1. Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
2. Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
3. Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.

• The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
• A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
• Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
• Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.

Where tropical goes wrong

• Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long tropical in Bristol survives.
• Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
• Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bristol accept nicotine freight.

The rules that apply here

Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
