Home / Vanilla box mod Coil in Bristol: the price shortlist

Coil life, liquid cost and the vanilla habit

Vanilla box mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 9 units and 6 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.

We run vanilla the same way in Bristol: same box mod, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.

The short version: vanilla in Bristol works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.

What a vanilla box mod really costs in Bristol

Ordering into Bristol usually means waiting 2–4 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.

How we tested vanilla in a box mod

1. Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
2. Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
3. Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.

• Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
• Spare parts availability for box mod in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
• Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
• Stock depth: 9 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.

Where vanilla goes wrong

• Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
• Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
• Treating the advertised £58 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £3.46 per 10 ml.

The rules that apply here

UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.

Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
