Tropical vape pen Coil in Bristol: the budget shortlist
Tropical in Bristol: 14 units tested over 8 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Coil life, liquid cost and the tropical habit
Most people searching Coil in Bristol are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
The honest read on tropical: 14 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: tropical in Bristol works if the vape pen, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a tropical vape pen really costs in Bristol
Tropical prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £3.34 per 10 ml.
How we tested tropical in a vape pen
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Stock depth: 14 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a vape pen arrives sealed but wrong.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a vape pen and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long tropical in Bristol survives.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why tropical tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On tropical the budget price and the premium price can sit within £3.34 per 10 ml once 2–4 business days is counted.
Why does tropical taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the vape pen units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the tropical blend itself harsh.
How long does tropical in a vape pen last?
In Bristol we measured 8 to 14 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
