Tropical squonk mod Coil in Bristol: the online shortlist
Tropical in Bristol: 13 units tested over 9 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Coil life, liquid cost and the tropical habit
We run tropical the same way in Bristol: same squonk mod, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Tropical prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.0 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long tropical tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a tropical squonk mod really costs in Bristol
Tropical in Bristol reaches the shelf in squonk mod formats, and the online ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested tropical in a squonk mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every tropical bottle shipped into Bristol.
- Stock depth: 13 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Mixing tropical with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised £39 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.0 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bristol accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Packaging for tropical in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to Bristol?
Yes, tracked to 2–4 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
What nicotine strength should tropical start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
How long does tropical in a squonk mod last?
In Bristol we measured 9 to 13 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
