Tropical box mod Coil in Bristol: the review shortlist
Tropical in Bristol: 9 units tested over 2 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
How we tested Tropical box mod here
Tropical prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.05 per 10 ml.
Tropical box mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 9 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 9 units, box mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a tropical box mod really costs in Bristol
We run tropical the same way in Bristol: same box mod, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested tropical in a box mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a tropical bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long tropical in Bristol survives.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bristol accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for tropical in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to Bristol?
Yes, tracked to 2–4 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
What nicotine strength should tropical start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a box mod.
How long does tropical in a box mod last?
In Bristol we measured 2 to 9 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
