Sweet pen device Coil in Bristol: the deals shortlist
Sweet in Bristol: 9 units tested over 6 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Coil life, liquid cost and the sweet habit
A sweet pen device from the discounted options in Bristol costs about £3.56 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
We run sweet the same way in Bristol: same pen device, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long sweet tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sweet pen device really costs in Bristol
The honest read on sweet: 9 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested sweet in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where sweet goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sweet tastes flat after two days.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised £63 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £3.56 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
