How we tested Spiced nicotine salt bottle here
We run spiced the same way in Bristol: same nicotine salt bottle, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
There is no single best way to buy Coil in Bristol. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
The short version: spiced in Bristol works if the nicotine salt bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a spiced nicotine salt bottle really costs in Bristol
If you are looking at spiced in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the nicotine salt bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested spiced in a nicotine salt bottle
- Pick the nicotine salt bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every spiced bottle shipped into Bristol.
- Batch code and production date, so a spiced bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 17 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where spiced goes wrong
- Treating the advertised £61 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £3.0 per 10 ml.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing spiced with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a nicotine salt bottle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £3.0 per 10 ml liquid plus £61 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does spiced taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the nicotine salt bottle units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the spiced blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should spiced start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a nicotine salt bottle.
