Salted sub-ohm kit Coil in Bristol: the cheap shortlist
Salted in Bristol: 6 units tested over 9 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
How to tell a good sub-ohm kit from a repack
Salted prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.7 per 10 ml.
Salted sub-ohm kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 6 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the sub-ohm kit you buy decides how long salted tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a salted sub-ohm kit really costs in Bristol
There is no single best way to buy Coil in Bristol. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested salted in a sub-ohm kit
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a salted bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where salted goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why salted tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised £52 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.7 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a sub-ohm kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle. Shipping of nicotine to Bristol runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
