Plum box mod Coil in Bristol: the best shortlist
Plum in Bristol: 12 units tested over 3 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Choosing a box mod for plum
Plum prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £3.01 per 10 ml.
Plum box mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 12 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long plum tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plum box mod really costs in Bristol
We run plum the same way in Bristol: same box mod, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested plum in a box mod
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Stock depth: 12 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plum bottle shipped into Bristol.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
Where plum goes wrong
- Mixing plum with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bristol accept nicotine freight.
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle. Shipping of nicotine to Bristol runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to Bristol?
Yes, tracked to 2–4 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
How much does a box mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £3.01 per 10 ml liquid plus £37 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does plum taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the plum blend itself harsh.
