Plain vape pen Coil in Bristol: the guide shortlist
Plain in Bristol: 23 units tested over 9 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
How to tell a good vape pen from a repack
We run plain the same way in Bristol: same vape pen, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Plain in Bristol reaches the shelf in vape pen formats, and the starter ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the vape pen you buy decides how long plain tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plain vape pen really costs in Bristol
Plain prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £3.17 per 10 ml.
How we tested plain in a vape pen
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a plain bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a vape pen arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where plain goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bristol accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised £37 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £3.17 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a vape pen and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
Packaging for plain in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
