Plain squonk mod Coil in Bristol: the price shortlist
Plain in Bristol: 9 units tested over 2 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Delivery, returns and what 2–4 business days really means
Plain squonk mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 9 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Plain prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.06 per 10 ml.
The short version: plain in Bristol works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plain squonk mod really costs in Bristol
If you are looking at plain in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the squonk mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested plain in a squonk mod
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plain bottle shipped into Bristol.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a plain bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where plain goes wrong
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plain in Bristol survives.
- Treating the advertised £50 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.06 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

| Entry kit | £50 | What a first order really pays |
