What melon costs in Bristol
The honest read on melon: 24 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
We run melon the same way in Bristol: same squonk mod, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long melon tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a melon squonk mod really costs in Bristol
There is no single best way to buy Coil in Bristol. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested melon in a squonk mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every melon bottle shipped into Bristol.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where melon goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bristol accept nicotine freight.
- Mixing melon with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised £64 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.88 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle. Shipping of nicotine to Bristol runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
