Lime vape pen Coil in Bristol: the compare shortlist
Lime in Bristol: 13 units tested over 4 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Choosing a vape pen for lime
Lime in a vape pen is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bristol the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
We run lime the same way in Bristol: same vape pen, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 13 units, vape pen, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a lime vape pen really costs in Bristol
Lime vape pen reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 13 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested lime in a vape pen
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a lime bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for vape pen in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every lime bottle shipped into Bristol.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
Where lime goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a vape pen that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bristol accept nicotine freight.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long lime in Bristol survives.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle. Shipping of nicotine to Bristol runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should lime start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a vape pen.
How long does lime in a vape pen last?
In Bristol we measured 4 to 13 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does lime taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the vape pen units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the lime blend itself harsh.
