Lemon pen device Coil in Bristol: the wholesale shortlist
Lemon in Bristol: 22 units tested over 3 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Delivery, returns and what 2–4 business days really means
Lemon prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £1.98 per 10 ml.
We run lemon the same way in Bristol: same pen device, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long lemon tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a lemon pen device really costs in Bristol
Lemon sounds like one product. It is not: a pen device running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested lemon in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every lemon bottle shipped into Bristol.
- Batch code and production date, so a lemon bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 22 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where lemon goes wrong
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.

Frequently asked questions
Why does lemon taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the lemon blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On lemon the budget price and the premium price can sit within £1.98 per 10 ml once 2–4 business days is counted.
How long does lemon in a pen device last?
In Bristol we measured 3 to 22 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
