What a iced vape pen really costs in Bristol
We run iced the same way in Bristol: same vape pen, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested iced in a vape pen
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Coil type inside the vape pen, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a vape pen arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where iced goes wrong
- Treating the advertised £41 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.92 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bristol accept nicotine freight.
- Ignoring the batch date on a vape pen and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle. Shipping of nicotine to Bristol runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
