Honey pen device Coil in Bristol: the guide shortlist
Honey in Bristol: 23 units tested over 3 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Coil life, liquid cost and the honey habit
Ordering into Bristol usually means waiting 2–4 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Honey in Bristol reaches the shelf in pen device formats, and the starter ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The short version: honey in Bristol works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a honey pen device really costs in Bristol
Honey pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 23 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested honey in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a honey bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every honey bottle shipped into Bristol.
Where honey goes wrong
- Treating the advertised £32 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.42 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a pen device cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £2.42 per 10 ml liquid plus £32 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does honey taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the honey blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On honey the budget price and the premium price can sit within £2.42 per 10 ml once 2–4 business days is counted.
