Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
If you are looking at herbal in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the sub-ohm kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Herbal sub-ohm kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 13 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 13 units, sub-ohm kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a herbal sub-ohm kit really costs in Bristol
The honest read on herbal: 13 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested herbal in a sub-ohm kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 13 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Spare parts availability for sub-ohm kit in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where herbal goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest sub-ohm kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised £37 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £3.35 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a sub-ohm kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should herbal start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a sub-ohm kit.
How much does a sub-ohm kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £3.35 per 10 ml liquid plus £37 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does herbal taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the sub-ohm kit units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the herbal blend itself harsh.
