Guava RDA Coil in Bristol: the deals shortlist
Guava in Bristol: 14 units tested over 8 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Coil life, liquid cost and the guava habit
We run guava the same way in Bristol: same RDA, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Most people searching Coil in Bristol are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long guava tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a guava RDA really costs in Bristol
A guava RDA from the discounted options in Bristol costs about £2.17 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested guava in a RDA
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 14 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
Where guava goes wrong
- Mixing guava with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised £31 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.17 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Is guava legal to sell in the UK?
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
What nicotine strength should guava start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a RDA.
Why does guava taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the guava blend itself harsh.
