Grapey squonk mod Coil in Bristol: the flat shortlist
Grapey in Bristol: 16 units tested over 7 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
How to tell a good squonk mod from a repack
Grapey in Bristol reaches the shelf in squonk mod formats, and the flat-rate ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The honest read on grapey: 16 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long grapey tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a grapey squonk mod really costs in Bristol
We run grapey the same way in Bristol: same squonk mod, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested grapey in a squonk mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Stock depth: 16 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where grapey goes wrong
- Mixing grapey with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised £41 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.56 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to Bristol?
Yes, tracked to 2–4 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Is grapey legal to sell in the UK?
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
Why does grapey taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the grapey blend itself harsh.
