Coil life, liquid cost and the grapey habit
If you are looking at grapey in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the 30 ml shortfill you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The honest read on grapey: 12 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 12 units, 30 ml shortfill, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a grapey 30 ml shortfill really costs in Bristol
A grapey 30 ml shortfill from the cheapest options in Bristol costs about £2.98 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested grapey in a 30 ml shortfill
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a grapey bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the 30 ml shortfill, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where grapey goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a 30 ml shortfill that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
- Mixing grapey with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
