Dessert pen device Coil in Bristol: the compare shortlist
Dessert in Bristol: 20 units tested over 2 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
What the label on Dessert is allowed to say
We run dessert the same way in Bristol: same pen device, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Most people searching Coil in Bristol are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
The short version: dessert in Bristol works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a dessert pen device really costs in Bristol
Dessert prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £1.68 per 10 ml.
How we tested dessert in a pen device
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a dessert bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every dessert bottle shipped into Bristol.
Where dessert goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why dessert tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
Packaging for dessert in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
