Cola zero-nicotine bottle Coil in Bristol: the online shortlist
Cola in Bristol: 20 units tested over 7 weeks, zero-nicotine bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Coil life, liquid cost and the cola habit
We run cola the same way in Bristol: same zero-nicotine bottle, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Cola prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £3.32 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the zero-nicotine bottle you buy decides how long cola tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a cola zero-nicotine bottle really costs in Bristol
Cola in a zero-nicotine bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bristol the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested cola in a zero-nicotine bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the zero-nicotine bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a zero-nicotine bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a cola bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where cola goes wrong
- Mixing cola with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest zero-nicotine bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
