Cola box mod Coil in Bristol: the flat shortlist
Cola in Bristol: 22 units tested over 4 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
What cola costs in Bristol
Cola prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £3.57 per 10 ml.
A cola box mod from the flat-rate options in Bristol costs about £3.57 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 22 units, box mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a cola box mod really costs in Bristol
We run cola the same way in Bristol: same box mod, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested cola in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a cola bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where cola goes wrong
- Treating the advertised £53 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £3.57 per 10 ml.
- Mixing cola with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
