Coffee 30 ml shortfill Coil in Bristol: the order shortlist
Coffee in Bristol: 16 units tested over 2 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Coil life, liquid cost and the coffee habit
Coffee prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £1.92 per 10 ml.
We run coffee the same way in Bristol: same 30 ml shortfill, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: coffee in Bristol works if the 30 ml shortfill, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a coffee 30 ml shortfill really costs in Bristol
Ordering into Bristol usually means waiting 2–4 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested coffee in a 30 ml shortfill
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Stock depth: 16 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every coffee bottle shipped into Bristol.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a coffee bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where coffee goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest 30 ml shortfill available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised £36 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £1.92 per 10 ml.
- Mixing coffee with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Do you ship tracked orders to Bristol?
Yes, tracked to 2–4 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does coffee taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 30 ml shortfill units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the coffee blend itself harsh.
