Citrus box mod Coil in Bristol: the online shortlist
Citrus in Bristol: 8 units tested over 7 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
What citrus costs in Bristol
Citrus prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.34 per 10 ml.
Citrus in Bristol reaches the shelf in box mod formats, and the online ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long citrus tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a citrus box mod really costs in Bristol
If you are looking at citrus in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the box mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested citrus in a box mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every citrus bottle shipped into Bristol.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why citrus tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should citrus start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a box mod.
Can I order Coil online in Bristol?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 2–4 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Why does citrus taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the citrus blend itself harsh.
