If you only read one line: the 60 ml bottle you buy decides how long citrus tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a citrus 60 ml bottle really costs in Bristol
Citrus in Bristol reaches the shelf in 60 ml bottle formats, and the discounted ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested citrus in a 60 ml bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the 60 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 7 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 60 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest 60 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Chasing a discount on a 60 ml bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
- Treating the advertised £54 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £3.45 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should citrus start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 60 ml bottle.
How much does a 60 ml bottle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £3.45 per 10 ml liquid plus £54 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does citrus taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 60 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the citrus blend itself harsh.
