Blackcurrant vape pen Coil in Bristol: the order shortlist
Blackcurrant in Bristol: 13 units tested over 3 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Choosing a vape pen for blackcurrant
Blackcurrant sounds like one product. It is not: a vape pen running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
We run blackcurrant the same way in Bristol: same vape pen, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the vape pen you buy decides how long blackcurrant tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a blackcurrant vape pen really costs in Bristol
A blackcurrant vape pen from the pre-order options in Bristol costs about £3.41 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested blackcurrant in a vape pen
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every blackcurrant bottle shipped into Bristol.
- Spare parts availability for vape pen in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
Where blackcurrant goes wrong
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a vape pen and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing blackcurrant with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for blackcurrant in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle. Shipping of nicotine to Bristol runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Why does blackcurrant taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the vape pen units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the blackcurrant blend itself harsh.
Do you ship tracked orders to Bristol?
Yes, tracked to 2–4 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On blackcurrant the budget price and the premium price can sit within £3.41 per 10 ml once 2–4 business days is counted.
