Blackcurrant squonk mod Coil in Bristol: the deals shortlist
Blackcurrant in Bristol: 21 units tested over 8 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
How to tell a good squonk mod from a repack
Blackcurrant sounds like one product. It is not: a squonk mod running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Blackcurrant in a squonk mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bristol the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long blackcurrant tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a blackcurrant squonk mod really costs in Bristol
Blackcurrant prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.7 per 10 ml.
How we tested blackcurrant in a squonk mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every blackcurrant bottle shipped into Bristol.
- Stock depth: 21 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where blackcurrant goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bristol accept nicotine freight.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long blackcurrant in Bristol survives.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for blackcurrant in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should blackcurrant start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
Do you ship tracked orders to Bristol?
Yes, tracked to 2–4 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does blackcurrant taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the blackcurrant blend itself harsh.
