Blackcurrant squonk mod Coil in Bristol: the cheap shortlist
Blackcurrant in Bristol: 12 units tested over 9 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
We run blackcurrant the same way in Bristol: same squonk mod, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The honest read on blackcurrant: 12 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: blackcurrant in Bristol works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a blackcurrant squonk mod really costs in Bristol
Blackcurrant prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.65 per 10 ml.
How we tested blackcurrant in a squonk mod
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where blackcurrant goes wrong
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised £63 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.65 per 10 ml.
- Mixing blackcurrant with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for blackcurrant in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
