Blackcurrant refill pack Coil in Bristol: the best shortlist
Blackcurrant in Bristol: 17 units tested over 3 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Choosing a refill pack for blackcurrant
Blackcurrant refill pack reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 17 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Blackcurrant prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £3.23 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the refill pack you buy decides how long blackcurrant tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a blackcurrant refill pack really costs in Bristol
Blackcurrant in Bristol reaches the shelf in refill pack formats, and the best ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested blackcurrant in a refill pack
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every blackcurrant bottle shipped into Bristol.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a blackcurrant bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a refill pack arrives sealed but wrong.
Where blackcurrant goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long blackcurrant in Bristol survives.
- Treating the advertised £28 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £3.23 per 10 ml.
- Mixing blackcurrant with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should blackcurrant start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a refill pack.
Why does blackcurrant taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the refill pack units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the blackcurrant blend itself harsh.
How much does a refill pack cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £3.23 per 10 ml liquid plus £28 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
