The short version: apple in Bristol works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a apple mesh tank really costs in Bristol
A apple mesh tank from the online options in Bristol costs about £2.97 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested apple in a mesh tank
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a apple bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
Where apple goes wrong
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why apple tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised £30 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.97 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle. Shipping of nicotine to Bristol runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
How long does apple in a mesh tank last?
In Bristol we measured 3 to 9 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On apple the budget price and the premium price can sit within £2.97 per 10 ml once 2–4 business days is counted.
Why does apple taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the apple blend itself harsh.
